The Cooperation between Master Degree Program in Environmental Science and SeaCORM (Southeast Asia Center for Ocean Research and Monitoring) was about “Development of Spatial Model of Marine and Coastal Resources in Bali”. This cooperation agreement aims to obtain data and information of marine and coastal resources in order to develop spatial model marine and coastal resources in Bali Strait for the next 3 years.
This cooperation was held on November 23, 2017 at Udayana University and its scopes includes:
- Inventory and utilization of marine and coastal data, and also observation database
- Remote sensing and modeling; utilization of spatial data processing facilities and infrastructure, exchange of research data and information, exchange of experts and support personnel, capacity building of human resources and dissemination, and publication of joint research results.
The cooperation agreement was signed by Prof. I Wayan Nuarsa (Head of Master Program of Environmental Science) and Dr. Nyoman Radiarta (Director of SeaCORM). The signing was accompanied by Prof. Made Budiarsa (Deputy Director I of Postgraduate-Udayana University), Prof. Takahiro Osawa (Director of CReSOS), and Komang Iwan, M.Si (Researcher of SeaCORM). Time schedule activities will be arranged soon. Thus, the implementation of cooperation can be realized immediately.
