Climate change adaptation meeting coordination among BAPPENAS, BAPPEDA and Expert team were conducted from 14th December to 15th December 2017 at Hotel Santika Bogor. The total participant was 24 people (i.e., Bappeda North Sumatra and Bali (4 people), Bappenas (3 people), Tokyo University (4 people) Ibaraki Universit (1 People), Meiji University 3 people), Nippon Koei (3 people), MoEJ (2 people), CReSOS Udayana University (2 people), IPB (1 people) CIFOR (1 people)).
Opening Remarks and guidance were delivered by Dr. Sudhiani Pratiwi, Director of Environment representatives from BAPPENAS. The project overview was delivered by Prof. Kensuke Fukushi (Tokyo University) as the project leader and Prof. Bonar Pasaribu (IPB) as an advisor.
Climate change impact assessment from various sector such as, climate, health, agriculture, fishery and marine , natural disaster and mangrove were presented by Nippon koei (Mr. Martin), Tokyo University (Dr. Martiwi Setiawati), Ibaraki University (Dr. Yuji Matsutomi), Udayana University (Dr. Takahiro Osawa), Tokyo University (Ranie Dwi Anugrah), and Prof. Daniel Mudiarso (CiFOR). Furthermore, guideline was presented by Mr. Masaru Ishikawa from Nippon Koei.
The expert team proposed that the workshop will be conducted on 19th February, 21st February and 22 February 2018 in Medan, surabaya and Denpasar.
