History

Center for Remote Sensing and Ocean Sciences (CReSOS) Udayana University is a research center in the field of remote sensing and marine under the LPPM Unud which was founded in 2002 at the initiation of Udayana University, Japan Aero-Space Developments Agency (JAXA) and Aviation and National Space Agency (LAPAN). The main activity of CReSOS is to utilize remote sensing technology to provide various kinds of data to support exploration of coastal and marine resources, monitoring of marine dynamics, climate prediction, and disaster. Marine data analysis is also supported by observational and laboratory data. Various national and international institutions have been involved in various research projects with CReSOS from 2002 to the present.
