Cresos, LPPM Unud – Department of Geophysics and Meteorology IPB Discusses Indonesian Climate Research  

Applied Climatology Study Program, Department of Geophysics and Meteorology (Ps.KLI), Bogor Agricultural University, along with Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Institution (BMKG) visited Center for Remote Sensing and Ocean Sciences (CReSOS), LPPM Udayana University on Monday, December 6, 2021.

This well-executed visit is part of the Climate Explorance program, where the Climate Explorance program is one of the educational collaboration programs between the Applied Climatology Study Program, the Department of Geophysics and Meteorology (Ps.KLI), Bogor Agricultural University with the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Institution (BMKG). The purpose of this visit is to provide field scientific insight for Applied Climatology postgraduate students and also provide a forum to carry out exploration of technology and climate science as well as interact in a forum or community science.

The visit, which was carried out face-to-face (offline), was accompanied and led by Dr. Rahmat Hidayat, S.Si., M.Sc. as Head of the Department of Geophysics and Meteorology, Bogor Agricultural University. The chairman of the Center for Remote Sensing and Ocean Sciences (CReSOS) I Gede Hendrawan, Ph.D together with a lecturer at the Faculty of Marine Affairs and Fisheries at Udayana University, I Wayan Gede Astawa Karang, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D, Abd. Rahman As-syakur, S.P., M.Si. and Ida Bagus Mandhara Brasika, S.Si, M.Sc. on this occasion also conveyed a good response to this visit activity. I Gede Hendrawan, Ph.D in his speech also said that CReSOS, LPPM Udayana University in this case welcomed the initiation of this collaboration, which was particularly related to research in the field of climatology and oceanography based on satellite data, which is the field of study of CReSOS itself.
